Strategic AI Delivery Partner
From hot mess to piña coladas by the beach.
How to applyWhy Set to Growth
Every business runs on an engine. When that engine is well thought out, mapped and running smoothly, everything flows.
When it isn't, it feels like a hot mess. Tasks get lost in inboxes. Owners work late, chasing their tail, always trying to catch up. Stuff falls through the cracks. Growing any further feels like it could bring the whole thing down like a house of cards. And that holiday they've been wanting? They're half dreading it, because of everything that could go wrong or not get done while they're away.
That's where we come in. Think Marie Kondo for how a business runs. We look at the whole engine, clear out what's clogging it, and redesign how the work gets done. People get to focus on the work they love, with the right tools and systems behind them, and AI takes on the stuff that drains the life out of them.
We help owners go from juggling everything like an octopus to knowing it's all taken care of. They get visibility and real trust in their engine, so they can sit with a piña colada by the beach, work six months of the year from Italy, or launch that new product line, without fretting that it'll all fall apart.
We like to be creative, pragmatic and a little bit quirky about it. We're curious, resourceful and always learning, always looking for the new, better and easier way. If that sounds like you, and you'd quite like a piña colada by the beach yourself, read on.
Our culture and our take on AI
What we stand for is simple: more time for people to live their lives, whether they own the business or work in it, without being chained to it. A job well done is a client who feels relief, excitement and a newfound joy for their business, because it's finally working for them, not the other way round. We stay on track by building what actually gets them where they want to go.
We believe AI should give people their time back, not take their jobs. Every engagement is built around making the people already in a business more capable, more present and less stretched. So we don't work with businesses that see AI as a way to cut headcount, and whoever joins us needs to feel the same way.
Inside the team, we work together, not in silos. We share what we learn, challenge each other's thinking in our working sessions, and keep shaping the offering and the toolkit as we go. Creative, pragmatic, a bit quirky, and plenty of fun along the way.
The role in one line
You sit beside business owners and their teams, unpack how their work actually gets done, and help them build the AI systems that take the manual, repetitive, draining work off their plates.
What you would actually be doing
Starting with strategy. Every engagement starts with a strategy and a plan. Nina runs the intake, and together we play back to the client what we heard: their business and personal goals, their pain points and challenges, and how their business really runs. That becomes the North Star, and everything we redesign in the engine works backwards from it.
Running the sessions. The bulk of this role is half day and full day sessions in the client's own office, working through really good process driven questioning to unpack what the process actually is that we need to teach AI. You will be surfacing the bottlenecks that people have stopped noticing, helping the client make the decisions they have been avoiding, and keeping the whole thing simple and pragmatic rather than clever and complicated.
Building with the client, one step at a time. In person or remote, we build with the client, not for them. We work inside their systems, their processes and their preferred AI tools, so the AI stack connects up and they can look after it themselves. Sometimes you'll be at the keyboard on the day while the client steps in and out, and that's fine. What we never do is take a scope away and disappear behind closed doors for days.
Thinking in ecosystems rather than one off assistants. Sometimes there is one person in the business and sometimes there are fifteen, and you can think through how a Claude Teams or GPT company workspace should be structured across a growing team, who needs access to what, what people need to know, and how everyone operates inside it once the AI is in place.
Documenting as you go. Session notes, decisions made, what was built and why, all landing within twenty four hours and without anyone needing to chase you for it. If you are already in the habit of documenting with AI rather than after the fact, you will fit here quickly.
Holding the line on the outcome. Every client has a plan with an outcome attached, and you keep checking whether we are on track to hit it. When a client wants to add something that does not serve that goal, you speak up, ask how it connects to the outcome, and lead the conversation back to the plan.
Building it the Set to Growth way. We have our own methodology for how we plan, architect, build and create visibility, and our own standards for quality. You follow what's agreed, and you're welcome to challenge it in our working sessions. Everything you build and learn comes back into the business: what you built, why, and what you'd do differently. That loop is how we learn from each other, grow our IP and show up as one cohesive team.
Reshaping roles, eventually. Once a team is working differently, their roles and their KPIs need to change to match. This is a bonus rather than a requirement, and it is something Nina can teach you.
You are perfect for this role if…
You've done this work for years.
At heart you're a pragmatic streamliner: you love making work simpler and helping people have more fun in their jobs, and figuring things out pragmatically for them is what drives you. You listen properly, so even when two clients want the same outcome, you know the path there might look completely different. You've built your own AI systems and operating systems, and you know how to translate people, processes and systems into work you can confidently hand over to AI. You can walk into a business you've never seen before and unpack how it really works.
The non-negotiables
- You are based on the Sunshine Coast, ideally somewhere near Noosa so we can catch up often, you are happy to travel to local clients, and you are just as comfortable running sessions remotely
- You have proven experience designing processes and systems across a range of different businesses
- You are technically fluent and comfortable working hands on inside AI tools & have built a stack you can show off
- You have your own ABN and insurance, or are happy to set them up before you start, and your own tech unless we specify otherwise
Who you are
Calm authority. You bring a considered, steady presence to process and systems design, and people want you in the room with them.
A patient and flexible teacher. You can get right down to wherever the client is sitting, whether that is someone who has never opened an AI tool or someone who is already halfway there, and you leave them feeling capable and cheered on rather than awkward or stupid.
Street smart, pragmatic, and solution focused. You move fast and stay diligent. You're great at unpacking the scope, working out what to build next and setting realistic expectations, and you keep the client posted on where we're at, what they need to do and what we're doing.
Honest enough to ask. When you do not know something you say so and you ask, rather than quietly guessing your way through it in front of a client.
Self driven about learning. This field changes every single week, and you are the kind of person who keeps up with it because you want to, not because someone told you to.
Risk aware, in a healthy way. You build everything as safely as possible, keep educating clients on the risks, and make sure they know their decisions are theirs to own, so if they choose to let AI send emails, they understand what that means. When in doubt, you ask Nina. No cowboys.
A business brain. You understand how a company actually makes money and how the different parts of a business fit together, which is what lets you spot where AI genuinely creates capacity rather than just looking impressive.
A team player who's in it with us. You believe in what we're doing and you're proud to represent it. You bring ideas to the table, help shape the offering and love working things out together, while happily following the standards and processes we've agreed. We're one team, not a group of independent consultants.
A translator for every kind of person. Builders, site crews, finance people, marketers, managers and owners. You explain things in simple, pragmatic language, and you work through the build with the client rather than taking the brief away and working on it alone.
Organised, and happy to figure it out. You stick to the plan. When you hit a system or tool you have never used, your instinct is to look it up and work it out, and you are comfortable with that being a regular part of the job.
Builds trust that lasts. You own the client relationship and you make sure they're happy. We work with clients for the long term, so the relationship matters as much as the build. Clients love working with you, rave about you, and are always happy with how Set to Growth shows up. And when the client needs more than you, you're quick to pull in Nina or someone else, so we always do the best by them.
The commercial arrangement

Email nina.h@settogrowth.com with the subject line "Delivery Partner application: [your name]" and include:
- Your up to date CV
- Where you're based
- A 5 to 10 minute video walking us through an AI system you've built. Show us the front end and the back end, and tell us:
- why you built it

- what opportunity it created
- how you went about solving it
- Your answers to these three questions:
- Tell us about a business you've helped streamline and scale, one that's similar to the clients who'd come to Set to Growth (so no massive corporates). How did you go about it, what was the outcome, and what did the client have to say?
- Tell us about a time things didn't go to plan, with a client or with AI. What happened, and how did you solve it?
- What's a piña colada for you? And why do you want to create more of them for business owners?
